Weekend Wild Walks

All Ages
Explore the Cumming Nature Center landscape with one of our expert naturalists! This fall you can investigate leaf litter, explore beaver ecology, or practice nature awareness during one of our themed Weekend Wild Walk programs. Visitors can also enjoy learning from lead naturalist Shariee Edersheim each weekend during Naturalist on the Loose.
Nature Center admission is purchased separately from Wild Walk admission.

Medicine Walk

Nature is good for our well-being in so many ways. Discover the world of plants used in traditional and contemporary healing while also learning to recognize wild flowers and trees in all seasons. Time for focused relaxation and reflection will also be included in this walk.

Ongoing Programs
Naturalist on the Loose
Saturdays & Sundays | 10:30am - 1pm | Free with admission
Walk alongside our outstanding lead naturalist, Shariee Edersheim, as she explores what's happening in nature each weekend. Edersheim has spent decades observing and exploring the plant and animal life at CNC, and this unique drop-in style program gives visitors the opportunity to learn from her extensive knowledge of the Nature Center landscape. Interested visitors can check in at the front desk for her location between 10:30am and 1pm each Saturday & Sunday before heading out on the trail to meet our Naturalist on the Loose!
Registration Information
Tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased in advance online for select programs. Hike capacity is limited so advanced registration is encouraged.
