RMSC “Changemakers” Exhibit Closes on May 16
WHAT: The Rochester Museum & Science Center’s featured exhibit, The Changemakers: Rochester Women Who Changed the World, is closing on May 16, 2021. The community still has three weeks to experience the exhibit in its entirety before it is gone.
The Changemakers shares more than 200 inspiring stories of past and present diverse Rochester, Indigenous, and Haudenosaunee women visionaries, trailblazers, inventors, activists, and entrepreneurs who changed Rochester and the world. Located in the Riedman Gallery and throughout the third floor of the museum, the exhibit will transport visitors through history and current events, inspiring them to transform the future by becoming Changemakers.
With hands-on interactives like flight simulators and a hologram experience, and minds-on participatory experiences which show that anyone can be a Changemaker, this exhibit can create a unique, transformative experience for visitors of all ages.
During these last few weeks, the RMSC will provide a number of Changemakers-themed activities available for visitors outside of the exhibit, including a Changemakers scavenger hunt.*
