RMSC Requires Masks for All Visitors Starting August 21, 2021
ROCHESTER, NY, August 19, 2021 – Beginning Saturday, August 21, the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) will require all visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when indoors visiting the RMSC’s Museum, Strasenburgh Planetarium, and Cumming Nature Center. This decision was made based on recent information regarding the increase of COVID cases in Monroe and Ontario Counties.
“The science is clear that mask wearing is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19. By reintroducing a mask requirement for all visitors, everyone can continue to have a safe, fun, and engaging experience at the Museum, Planetarium, and Nature Center,” said Hillary Olson, President & CEO of the RMSC.
