Impressions of the Infinite Returns to RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium
WHAT: The RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium has once again teamed up with Rochester-based funk-jazz-electronic musical ensemble Vanishing Sun to host Impressions of the Infinite.
Impressions of the Infinite combines the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium's immersive visualization capabilities with original music performed live by Vanishing Sun to create a unique journey for the eyes, ears, heart, and mind. The hour-long performance is the perfect fusion of the cosmic grandeur of a Star Show and the energy and spontaneity of a live music concert.
On Sunday, May 15, the show will be performed as the “opening act” to a lunar eclipse set to occur later in the evening. There will be two shows at 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
